Rise of consumption and savings stability amid no real cash income growth in the context of declining interest rates are ensured by consumer lending growth.

Attractiveness of the retail lending for banks due to its high profitability contribute to retain momentum in this sphere of business. However, in the future this can threated both financial situation of households and stability of the banking sector as a whole. At present, the Bank of Russia turned to measures aimed at the market stabilization which in the near future lead to a decline of monthly growth rates of the retail lending portfolio.
